Lights, camera, action!
Well, we’re skipping the camera part … for now. But Maestro designed some amazing lighting for our bedroom. The bedroom design project started last weekend, when we decided it needed a facelift. It’s what I’d call beautifully-designed kitsch. But it wasn’t very romantic, especially with the stark overhead light. We noticed this when we played with Chloe a few weeks ago. It was too light with the light on, yet too dark with the light off to actually see what you’re doing. (And that’s part of the fun, right? I want to see the pussy I’m licking and the cock I’m sucking!) We left the soft bathroom light on with the door ajar, but it wasn’t quite bright enough to find your way to the bathroom.
The solution? IKEA to the rescue! Seriously, we found some solar-powered lamps on sale. Instead of hanging from the ceiling (yawn … booooorrrrinng), Maestro placed them inside a wooden crate, softened the light by putting coloured paper over the bulb … eh voila! Soft blue lights emanating from the crate slats. And they’re on the floor, so when you’re in bed you don’t have to turn them off.
