Head(board) banging

So the bed frame and dressers finally arrived! It’s been a month, but we’re now sleeping on a real bed. And the frame is gorgeous – blue-stained wood with metallic scrolls on the headboard. The entire bedroom is beautiful, actually, and a bit hilarious at the same time. I call it shibari-inspired functional design.

All the toys are hanging neatly off the headboard, exactly where we need it. Two silk ties arms length apart, the whip near the blindfold, and the anal beads off to the side. And above all of it is Sharky the first! (We’ve got 3 Sharkys … because why not? Who doesn’t love stuffed IKEA sharks??) Sharky I rope-tied to the headboard is a funky piece of art, but the fact that I’ve now got a place to keep all my hair ties is even better! We just roll them up his fin. Functional design at it’s best. Sharky II and III are hanging off the wall at the foot of the bed, rope-tied to each other. And Octopus (my little octopeau) is suspended in the corner of the room, wearing the masks and blue bandana. Hahahaha .. it’s what I wake up looking at these days! A little rope-tied aquarium on the wall.

But back to the headboard. Like all good design projects, we needed to test it out with a dry run. Or wet run. Really really wet run. We watched some porn together for the first time that night. And we had to have some fun with it of course! The first one (professionals) was no touching. No touching each other, or oneself. Being denied something you want is always such a tease, and I got incredibly horny. I kept crossing my legs and squirming around. The second one (amateurs) – we could only touch each other. And that was my first orgasm of the night. With just his fingers. The 2nd orgasm was with my legs tied to the headboard, laying on my side. That’s like a go-to position now for me. We can usually find the perfect angle for me, and the ties are conveniently located for arms or legs. So the 3rd orgasm … with his feet. Seriously, that’s a first for me. When his knees are on my shoulders, his feet are positioned perfectly between my legs. He’s just putting those monkey toes to good use!

I still think we need to run more functional design tests on the frame set up. We need to be diligent in our research and pursue other kinds of data to verify and triangulate our results. You know, to ensure validity and reliability! Hahahaha … we could totally turn this into a case study for innovative design projects … and fuck at the same time!
